BEVERLY, MA - Junior Dominick Porter (Hopewell, Va.) had 16 kills and one error on 21 attempts for a .714 hitting percentage as No. 9 Eastern Mennonite University defeated Endicott College 3-0 in men's volleyball action on Saturday afternoon in Harrisonburg, VA.

EMU (14-5, 3-0 NECVA Western Division) defeated Endicott (12-15, 5-5 NECVA New England Division) 30-18, 30-22, and 31-29.

Porter had his best hitting game of the season, having previously hit .565 on March 9 at Warner Southern. In addition to 16 kills, he also had two digs and three block assists. Sophomore Benjamin Yoder Lederach, Pa.) had 42 assists, seven digs, and four block assists. Sophomore hitters Ethan Fry (Guatemala City, Guatemala) and Brandon Ratliff (Phoenix, Ariz.) each had seven kills and 11 digs for the Royals.

Senior Mike Coflesky (Royalston, MA/Athol) led the Gulls with 12 kills and eight digs. Freshman Clay Ostrander (Wheaton, IL/Wheaton-Warrenville) had 11 kills and five digs. Senior setter Eric Hunter (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem) accumulated five kills, 29 assists, and six digs.

Endicott continues its spring break trip Monday at Mount Olive (NC).
