BEVERLY, MA - Endicott College freshman libero Dan Coleman (Millis, MA/Millis) was named the NECVA Rookie of the Week after leading the Endicott March Mania volleyball Tournament with 94 digs.

Coleman, who has set the school record for digs on four separate occasions, was named to the Endicott March Mania All-Tournament Honorable Mention team.

The freshman led the Gulls to a seventh place finish in the tourney with a 2-2 record. Coleman averaged 5.71 digs with only six errors. In Endicott's final match of the tourney, he hit .378 and had 18 kills.

Coleman is the second Endicott player to receive NECVA's Rookie of the Week honors. Freshman Clay Ostrander (Wheaton, IL/Wheaton-Warrenville) was the association's first rookie of the week back in February.
