Beverly, MA - The Gulls fell to visiting Queens College 3-1 in their home opener. After winning the first game 30-28, EC dropped the next 3, 26-30, 21-30, 23-30. EC falls to 4-1 overall while Queens improved to 3-1 on the year.
Endicott's offense was again led by Eddie Marchand as he knocked down 12 kills. Jeremy Hamel handed out 26 assists and Brandon Ecker and Mike Coflesky each contributed 6 digs.
Queens was led by senior, Jason Octave's 27 kills and 9 digs. Angel Capellan picked up a double double wtih 18 kills and 11 digs and setter John Calderon handed out 62 assists.
The Gulls will return to NECVA play on Wednesday at 7 PM, when they will host MIT. Queens returns to action in a 1 PM match at Harvard tomorrow.
