Unfortunately the only thing different about this (ECAC) Semifinal match from the NECVA Semifinal match two weeks ago was the setting. The Rivier Raiders, currently ranked \#7 on the AVCA Coaches Poll, defeated the Fifteenth-ranked Gulls 3-0 in just over one hour to advance to the ECAC Championship match. Despite strong play from Seniors Pablo Baez and Craig Steszewski the Gulls could not turn the corner and defeat their NECVA New England rival.
Today's match concludes Endicott's most successful season to date. Just a few of the highlights include setting school records for both wins overall and in NECVA Play. The team advanced to the NECVA Semifinals for the first time and made their first ECAC postseason appearance.
