Endicott (No.15) was defeated in three games against conference opponent Rivier College (No.6) in Endicott's final conference game of the year. The win clinches the NECVA-NE conference championship for the Raiders. Endicott kept the games close to the midpoint, but could not close out, going down 19-30, 28-30 and 21-30.
Sophomore Mike Coflesky was unstoppable at the net for the Gulls, as he hit .600% (9k-0e/15att), while captain Jeremy Fontaine led the team in points with twenty. Fontaine had 19 kills in the loss, and freshman Eddie Marchand contributed eight. Other notables include Marchand's team leading five digs and three aces, and Russ Friedland's two blocks (one solo, one assist).
Endicott will close out their regular season on Wednesday, March 31 as they travel to the University of New Haven (CT) for a 7:00 PM match. The Gulls will then head to Buffalo, NY to compete in the NECVA Playoffs next weekend.
