Gulls Drop Fourth Straight

March 20, 2004

Stats

Endicott has been struggling with a strong schedule this season and could not quite make the push to win tonight, losing 0-3 to the University of New Haven. Endicott started off slow in the first match, while UNH accumulated blocks at the net to win 30-23. In the second game the Gulls were closer (25-30) as they decreased their hitting errors, and then came out strong in the third game. Despite the strong serving of Mike Coflesky and Eric Hunter, Endicott could not take control of the game and lost the third 27-30.

Freshman Eddie Marchand was an offensive weapon for the Gulls, as he led the team with 14 kills and in points with 15. Russ Friedland and Craig Steszewski weighted the Gulls on defense with three blocks and 12 digs respectively.

Endicott's next match is a conference match on Tuesday, March 23rd at 7:00 PM at Elms College in Chicopee, MA.
