Endicott defeated NECVA-NE conference opponent Mount Ida 30-16, 30-10, 30-13. Strong serving runs and efficient offense helped the Gulls make quick work of their opponents.
Pablo Baez and George Chapell both had 10 point serving runs, in the second and third games respectively. The serving of Eddie Marchand and Jeremy Fontaine, who collaborated for 4 aces, paced game one.
Sophomore Mike Coflesky continues to shine on offense for the Gulls as he added another eight kills to his season total, hitting .312% (8k-3e/16att). The team hit .370% in three games, behind the setting and leadership of Baez and Craig Steszewski.
Setter Lad Yanousky ran Mount Ida's offense while Dajaun Owens paced it with 7 kills.
Endicott will now prepare for Sunday's conference match at Lasell College, which begins at 1 pm.
