Nichols Picked to Win in Men’s Tennis Preseason Poll

BEVERLY, Mass. – Based on a vote of league head coaches, Nichols College was picked to win the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship in the 2024 men’s tennis preseason poll. The Bison earned all eight first-place votes.

The CCC Regular-Season and Tournament Champions from last season, Nichols advanced to the second round of the 2023 NCAA Division III Tournament. The Bison return 2023 CCC Rookie of the Year Leon Zeis and All-Conference selections Caio Dieckmann and Trevor Schwarzmann.

Roger Williams finished second, returning 2023 All-Conference honorees John Baldyga, Ryan Carroll, Konnor Collins and Alex Smith. A year ago, RWU advanced to the Championship match of the CCC Tournament, falling to the Bison.

Endicott and Gordon rounded out the poll’s top three. Last season, both Endicott and Gordon advanced to CCC Semifinal matches. The Gulls return 2023 All-CCC selections George Danes and Antonio Marsallo. The Scots return 2023 CCC Player of the Year Ezekiel Hall and All-CCC honorees Jeffrey Bodner, Joshua Noel and Carleton Riester.

The rounds of the 2024 CCC Tournament will be held April 27-May 4.
