Men's Tennis Falls To Wentworth, 5-4

BRIGHTON, Mass. - The Endicott men's tennis team fell to Wentworth, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon. 

In doubles action, the Gulls' No. 1 team of Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass.) and Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif.) earned an 8-5 win, while the No. 2 team of Brennan Nick (Tolland, Conn.) and Julian Richtarich (Westport, Conn.) secured an 8-6 triumph. 

In singles play, Rinkert earned a hard-fought 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 win at No. 1, and Richtarich won 6-4, 7-5 at No. 2.

"This result will likely eliminate us from playoff contention and as the coach, I take full responsibility for that." said men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "Our men played hard and left it all out there. They have a lot to be proud of."
