Men’s Tennis Stifles Curry, 8-1

MILTON, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Curry, 8-1, on Thursday evening at the Trent J. Scott '96 Tennis Courts.

In doubles play, the Gulls took all three spots to claim a decisive advantage headed into singles.

Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif.) and Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass.) breezed to an 8-1 victory at No. 1. 

Julian Coyle (Derry, N.H.) and Elijah Harris (Haverhill, Mass.) also claimed an 8-5 triumph at No. 3, while Julian Richtarich (Westport, Conn.) and Zachary Lane (Rutland, Vt.) notched an 8-4 win at No. 2 to complete the sweep.

As for singles action, Rinkert (6-4, 6-0, No. 1), Richtarich (6-1, 6-1, No. 2), Dinardo (6-2, 6-1, No. 3), Harris (6-3, 6-0, No. 4), and Lane (6-3, 6-2, No. 6) all rode the momentum from doubles into victories in their respective singles matches.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (4-4, 2-1 CCC) hosts Curry (0-7, 0-3 CCC) on Saturday, April 24 at 1 PM. Saturday's match will serve as Senior Day for the Gulls and Rinkert, their lone senior.
