Men's Tennis Falls To Eastern Nazarene, 8-1

QUINCY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team fell to Eastern Nazarene College (ENC), 8-1, on Thursday evening at the ENC tennis courts.

Christos Papadopoulos (Weymouth, Mass.) picked up the lone victory for the Gulls as he was able to notch a singles win at the No.5 flight, 6-3, 6-1.

The Lions were able to sweep doubles action winning the No. 2 (8-3), No. 1 (8-5), and No. 3 (6-8) positions. In singles, Eastern Nazarene went on to pick up wins at the No. 1 (6-0, 6-1) and No. 3 (6-1, 6-1) spots, respectively, to ultimately seal the match for their third straight victory.

"We are improving, but still not quite where we need to be," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "I take full responsibility for the result, and we will look to keep improving."

Endicott (6-6) will travel to Nichols for CCC action Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 AM.  Eastern Nazarene (10-6) will host Suffolk on Saturday, April 6 at 1:00 PM.
