WINCHESTER, Mass. - The Endicott men's tennis team fell to Emerson, 6-3, on Sunday afternoon at the Winchester Indoor Tennis Club.
Emerson came out of doubles action with a 2-1 lead from victories at the No. 1 (8-4) and No. 2 (8-6) positions and then received wins at the No. 2 (6-2, 6-2), No. 1 (6-4, 6-3), and No. 3 (7-6 (7-3), 6-3) singles spots to secure the match for the Lions.
On the Gulls' side, Endicott saw the doubles pairing of Christos Papadopoulos (Weymouth, Mass.) / Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass) earn a dominant 8-0 triumph at the No. 3 position. Charles Book (Devon, Pa.) and DiNardo also won at the No. 4 (7-6 (7-5), 6-1) and No. 6 (6-0, 6-4) singles flights, respectively.

"I'm encouraged by the level of maturity we showed," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We will look to build off of it next weekend."
