Eastern Nazarene Bests Endicott, 6-3

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team lost to Eastern Nazarene, 6-3, on Wednesday evening at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

The Gulls picked up all their wins in singles play as Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif.), Charles Book (Devon, Pa.), and Ozan Cermik (Cumberland, R.I.) came away with victories at the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 slots, respectively.

"Eastern Nazarene put us on our back heels after doubles, but we really responded well and battled in singles," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Jeremy Howard. "We will now look to right the ship this Saturday against Curry."

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Rinkert notched his seventh singles win on the year.
  • Book registered his third singles victory for the Gulls.
  • Cermik posted his fourth singles with this season.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (8-7, 3-3 CCC) travels to Curry this Saturday for a league matchup at 12 PM. Eastern Nazarene (14-3, 6-1 CCC) hosts Bridgewater State University tomorrow at 3:30 PM.
