Roger Williams Bests Endicott, 8-1

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team fell to Roger Williams, 8-1, in league play on Friday evening at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

Christopher Kirkpatrick (Newburyport, Mass.) and Keaton McCleary (Charlotte, N.C.) picked up the Gulls' lone victory with an 8-2 decision at No. 1 doubles.

After Roger Williams won No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, the Hawks followed up with victories at the No. 6, No. 5, and No. 1 singles flights to clinch the win, their third in a row dating back to April 7.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Kirkpatrick and McCleary earned their second No. 1 doubles victory today.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (7-6, 2-2 CCC) hosts Western New England tomorrow at 1 PM on Senior Day. Prior to the match, Kirkpatrick will be honored for his contributions towards the men's tennis program and the Endicott College community.
