BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Gordon College, 6-3, in a conference matchup on Friday evening at the Bass River Tennis Club.
Justin Toler (Concord, N.H.) and Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif.) were both double-winners for the Gulls in the victory.
In doubles play, Toler teamed up with Thomas Brent (Gorham, Maine) for an 8-3 victory at the No. 2 flight. Toler then went on to beat Gordon's Peter Godwin (Manchester, Conn.) at the No. 5 singles flight with scores of 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. Meanwhile, Rinkert paired with Charles Book (Devon Pa.) at the No. 3 flight with another 8-3 winning score. In singles, Rinkert grabbed a gritty win against Mike D'Antuono (Mapleville, R.I.) at the No. 4 flight with a score of 1-6, 6-3, 7-6, (7-3).
Christopher Kirkpatrick (Newburyport, Mass.) and Keaton McCleary (Charlotte, N.C.) each won their respective singles matches at the No. 1 (6-3, 6-3) and No. 6 (6-2, 6-2) flights.

Endicott (6-5) will take on Wentworth on Sunday, April 8 at 4 PM at the Bass River Tennis Club. Gordon (4-7) is set to face Curry College on Saturday, March 7 at 12 PM.
