Men’s Tennis Stays Perfect On Spring Break Trip, Downs Ramapo 6-3

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Ramapo College, 6-3, despite we conditions on Tuesday morning at Hilton Head High School to remain perfect on its spring break trip (2-0).

Endicott saw Charles Book (Devon, Pa.), Jack DeRizzo (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), and Nicholas Eherts (New Milford, Conn.) earn victories in both their singles and doubles matches to highlight the Gulls' efforts.

Book and DeRizzo teamed up for a swift 8-2 victory at No. 3 doubles, while in their singles flights Book claimed a 4-6, 6-4, 10-5 triumph at No. 2 and DeRizzo posted a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 5. Meanwhile, Eherts and Keaton McCleary (Charlotte, N.C.) notched an 8-0 victory at No. 2 doubles, before Eherts also registered a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles.

Sean McAndrews (Vineyard Haven, Mass.) rounded out the list of winners for the Gulls at the No. 3 (6-4, 6-4) singles position.
