2015 CCC Men's Tennis Pairings Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After the conclusion of the 2015 regular season schedule, the Endicott men's tennis team (10-6, 6-2 CCC) has been awarded the #3 seed in the CCC Tournament and will face #6 Western New England (7-7, 3-5 CCC) on Tuesday afternoon in the quarterfinal round.
The Gulls and Golden Bears, who met 12 days ago with Endicott coming out on top 5-4, kick off their CCC Quarterfinal match at 3:00 p.m. down at the South Campus Courts. These two teams last played in the CCC postseason two years ago with Endicott capturing a 5-0 win to advance into the semifinal round.
The winner of Tuesday's match up will face #2 Nichols (12-2, 7-1 CCC) in the CCC Semifinals on Thursday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. on the campus of Holy Cross in Worcester. The top seed Roger Williams (12-4, 8-0 CCC) will await the winner of #5 Eastern Nazarene (10-7, 4-4 CCC) and #4 Gordon (14-4, 5-3 CCC).
Endicott has qualified for CCC postseason play in each of the last nine seasons with seven semifinal round appearances. With their 10th win of the season on Saturday, a 5-4 win over Gordon, the Gulls tied their win total from 2012 and are two shy of tying the program's record from 2008.
