Men's Tennis Bows to Curry, 2-7

Beverly, MA- The men's tennis team lost to Curry College yesterday at home, 2-7. Curry spotted the Gulls a two match lead by forfeiting 6th singles and 3rd doubles. The Gulls, however, could not take advantage. "What Curry lacked in numbers, they made up for in talent," said Coach Herlihy. "We battled, as we have all year, but couldn't overcome them."

Brian Goldmeier and Joseph Dudek lost at 1st doubles, 2-8, and Kieran Parisi and Ben Bettez lost 1-8 at 2nd doubles. Goldmeier lost at 1st singles, 3-6, 3-6, while Parisi lost 1-6, 1-6 at 2nd singles. Dudek fell 1-6, 0-6 in his 3rd singles match and Richard Len lost 1-6, 1-6 at 4th singles. Jeff Parker, playing 5th singles for the Gulls, lost 4-6, 3-6.

The Gulls conclude their season on Thursday with a match on the road against Rhode Island College.
