Men’s Soccer Upends Keene State, 4-1

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team defeated Keene State, 4-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Max Karkos (Wethersfield, Conn.), Keveen Delgado (Pittsfield, Mass.), Joe Mepham (Sudbury, Mass.), and Aléx Monteiro Leith (Cambridge, Mass.) all scored in the victory (3', 10', 39', 70').

Meanwhile, Tiago Frazao (Trumbull, Conn.) and Tim Lynch (Groton, Conn.) assisted on the first (3') and last (70') markers of the contest, respectively.

In goal, Zach Regulbuto (Somers, Conn.) stopped one shot to improve to 4-1-1 on the season.

Keene State's lone tally was an own goal, which came in the 16th minute of play.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Monteiro Leath rocketed a shot into the upper right 90 at the 69:32 mark of the contest for his collegiate goal.
  • Endicott is 2-0-0 all-time against Keene State.
  • Tonight was the first meeting between the program since 9/15/2013 (3-2 win).
  • The Gulls have won three in a row and are 4-1-1 at Hempstead Stadium this season.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (5-2-1, 1-0-0 CCC) travels to Suffolk on Saturday, September 24 at 3 PM. Keene State (1-4-1) hosts Western Connecticut this Saturday at 1 PM.
