Couchot Brothers Earn Academic Honors From United Soccer Coaches

UNITED SOCCER COACHES RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Two Endicott men's soccer student-athletes were honored by United Soccer Coaches for their academic success throughout the season. Conner Couchot (Mason, Ohio) was selected to the United Soccer Coaches Men's NCAA Division III Scholar All-America Third Team and to the Scholar All-East Region Second Team, while Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio) was named to the Scholar All-East Region First Team.

C. Couchot adds Scholar All-America Third Team and Scholar All-East Region Second Team honors to several other 2018 season accolades such as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Year, an All-CCC First Team selection and a United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-New England Region Second Team honor. He anchored the Endicott backline and also added one goal and three assists for five points on the season. 

E. Couchot tallied 15 goals and one assist for 31 points throughout the 2018 season to lead the team in both goals and points. He was also named to the All-CCC First Team, CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team, and United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-New England Region Second Team for his efforts. 

Endicott (10-6-2, 6-0-2) finished the 2018 season with a share of the CCC regular season championship and advanced to the semifinal round of the CCC Tournament where the Gulls were handed a close 1-0 overtime loss by Roger Williams.
