Second Half Surge Lifts Endicott Past Wentworth, 3-1

WENTWORTH, Mass.- The Endicott men's soccer team traveled to Wentworth for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup and the Gulls came away with a 3-1 victory.

Wentworth found the back of the net first as Cameron Pacheco (Woburn, Mass.) put the ball in the back of the net.

The Gulls responded midway in the first half as Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio.) netted his 14th of the season, to tie the game at 1-1.

Both teams were held scoreless until late in the second half when Conner Couchot (Mason, Ohio.) and Dario Neukom (Palma de Mallorca, Spain.) scored in the 84th and 87th minute, respectively, to give the Gulls a 3-1 victory.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Camden Stockdale (Durham, Conn.) recorded three saves en route to his first win of the season.
  • Both Neukom's and C. Couchot's goals were their first of the season.
  • The win marks five straight CCC wins for Endicott. 
  • E. Couchot has now scored in five straight games.
  • Neukom and Jon Breed (Atkinson, N.H.) recorded assists during the contest.  

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (8-4-2, 5-0-2 CCC) will host UNE at 7 PM on Wednesday, October 17th. Wentworth (5-9-1, 1-4 CCC) will host Salve Regina on Wednesday, October 17th for a 7 PM start.
