CCC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass.- The Endicott men's soccer team saw two student-athletes earn Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio) was named Offensive Player of the Week and Jack Bacon (Lincoln, R.I.) was tabbed as Defensive Player of the Week.

E. Couchot netted five goals for 10 points as the Gulls went 2-0 on the week. He started out with two tallies during a 3-0 shutout over Curry on October 2, and then recorded a hat-trick during a 3-1 victory over previously undefeated Roger Williams on October 6. E. Couchot currently leads the CCC in goals with 12. 

Bacon went 2-0 in net for the Gulls. He recorded a shutout over Curry where he had four saves and then made two stops during a 3-1 victory over Roger Williams. Bacon finished the week with a GAA of 0.50 and a save percentage of .857. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (6-4-2, 3-0-2 CCC) travels to Gordon College for a 7 PM game on Tuesday, October 9.
