Gulls Suffer 2-1 OT Setback To Trinity (Conn.)

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 overtime setback to the visiting Trinity College (Conn.) Bantams on a soggy Monday night at Hempstead Stadium in non-conference action.

Senior midfielder Tobias Gimand (Copenhagen, Denmark) broke the stalemate in the 16th minute on a breakaway down the sideline that he deposited into the lower left corner of the net as the guests took a 1-0 advantage into the break.

Junior forward Dario Neukom (Palma de Mallorca, Spain) netted the equalizer for the Gulls in crunch time on a free kick 18 yards out in the 82nd minute.

Freshman forward Henry Farr's (Bala Cynwyd, Pa.) golden goal off a cross from senior forward Fernando Cuervo-Torello (Arlington, Mass.) in the 92nd minute sent the Bantams strutting onto the field, victorious for the first time since their season opener.
