Men's Soccer Receives NSCAA College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Bronze Award

2015 College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award Winners

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team has been honored with the 2015 College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Bronze Award as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) office.

Head coach Joe Calabrese's squad tallied just 11 yellow cards and zero red cards to receive the Bronze Award and was the only men's team across all divisions of intercollegiate competition to be named to the Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze Award level.

In all, 83 teams received either the Platinum (8), Gold (15), Silver (43) or Bronze (17) version of the College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game, as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards they are shown by referees throughout the season based on the number of cards accumulated divided by the number of games played.

The Gulls (16-3-4) finished as the runners-up in both the CCC Championship and the Eastern College Athletic Association (ECAC) Division III New England Championship to complete the best season in program history.
