SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore forward Diego Maillo (Plantation, Fla.) earned his first Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Co-Offensive Player of the Week honor as announced by the conference office.
Maillo scored one goal and had one assist to help the Gulls go 2-0 on the week. Maillo scored the only goal in the team's CCC regular season title-clinching win over Gordon and assisted on a goal by freshman forward Andrew Hymson (Waldwick, N.J.) to defeat Curry in the CCC Quarterfinals on Saturday.
Maillo leads the Gulls with four-game winners and is second on the team in goals (7) and tied for second in points (17). Maillo's seven goals put him in a three-way tie for seventh in the conference.
