2015 Endicott Men's Soccer Season Preview

2015 Video Season Preview 

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team begins its 2015 season at home against NSCAA No. 16 nationally-ranked Calvin College on Friday, September 4 at 7 p.m. as part of the North Shore Invitational. After their opening match against the Knights, the Gulls will play consecutive home games against Utica (Sept. 5, 5 PM) and the defending NCAA Division III champion, Tufts University (Sept. 8, 7 PM) before kicking off the CCC campaign on the road at UNE on September 12 at 3:30 p.m. Now, here's a look at the full schedule and the upcoming season.

RETURNING CAST: All-CCC First Team forward Diego Slobotzky (Mexico City, Mexico) returns for his senior season coming off a year where he led the team in goals (10), which was good for a second-place tie among all CCC student-athletes. Slobotzky also paced the team with seven assists (tied for first in league) and was first on the team and second in the conference in total points with 27. Sophomore All-CCC Second Teamer Conner Couchot (Mason, Ohio) is back to roam the midfield and junior transfer Nick Weinstein (Trumbull, Conn.) joins the club to patrol the net.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Endicott will host seven more home contests throughout the season against Nichols (Sept. 18, 7 PM), UMass Dartmouth (Sept. 29, 4 PM), Eastern Nazarene (Oct. 3, 7PM), Williams (Oct. 13, 6 PM), Western New England (Oct. 17, 3:30 PM), Wentworth (Oct. 21, 4 PM), and Gordon (Oct. 27, 7 PM).

ON THE ROAD: Endicott's other remaining away contests include Lasell (Sept. 15, 4 PM), Coast Guard (Sept. 22, 7 PM), Roger Williams (Sept. 26, 3:30 PM), Salem St. (Oct. 5, 7 PM), Curry (Oct. 10, 2 PM), and Salve Regina (Oct. 24, 2 PM).

SAVE THE DATE: October 3 at 7 p.m. is the Gulls' Homecoming and Senior Day game.

PRESEASON PLAUDITS: Endicott was picked to finish third in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Preseason Poll. 

YEAR IN REVIEW: The Gulls finished their 2014 season with a 12-7-4 record overall and 4-2-3 mark in conference play and won the 2014 ECAC Division III New England Championship.
