Men's Soccer Picked Third In 2015 CCC Preseason Poll

2015 CCC Preseason Poll Release

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team has been picked third in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Poll, as selected by the league's 10 head coaches.

Endicott received 76 points and two first place votes headed into the 2015 season after posting a 12-7-4 record overall in 2014, which included a 4-2-3 showing in conference games.

Gordon College was slated first in the poll as the Fighting Scots claimed first place votes from five out of the 10 conference head coaches for 93 total points. Nichols College, the defending CCC champions, earned second place with 89 points (three first place votes), while Roger Williams completed the top 4 with 74 points.

Salve Regina ranked No. 5 on the poll with 55 points and Western New England College checked in at No. 6 with 50 points. Curry was positioned seventh overall (39 points), while University of New England (32 points), Wentworth (29 points) and Eastern Nazarene (13 points) rounded out the conference voting.

Endicott begins its 2015 season on Friday, September 4 at home against NSCAA No. 16 nationally-ranked Calvin at 7 p.m.
