SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team will compete in the 2014 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament as the #4 seed as it was announced by league commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Wednesday evening. With the regular season conference schedule in the books, the Gulls will enter their CCC Quarterfinal match on Saturday, November 1st against #5 Salve Regina (7-9-1, 4-4-1).
Saturday's CCC Quarterfinal will be played in Gulls territory with a 1:30 p.m. start.
Endicott wrapped up their regular season last night as they defeated Eastern Nazarene 1-0 after a late goal by junior Zach Rizzo (Redding, Conn.). With the victory the Gulls finished the regular season at 9-6-3 (4-2-3 CCC).
Salve Regina wrapped up their regular season this afternoon as they battled with Western New England in a tough 2-0 loss. The Blue and Green got the best of the Seahawks in their lone meeting this season as the Gulls took a 1-0 victory at Endicott Stadium. Endicott is 9-6-1 all-time against the Seahawks and will look to advance to the programs first semi-final round since 2005.
