Kanter Named Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Endicott College freshman goalkeeper Aaron Kanter (Medfield, Mass.) has been named both the men’s soccer defensive player and overall rookie of the week in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

Over 220 minutes of play, Kanter and the Gulls blanked opponents in a pair of scoreless double overtime contests. Kanter opened the week making five saves against regionally ranked Springfield, and tallied three more later in the week against CCC foe Gordon.

Kanter has played in five games this season, starting three of them. He has allowed just three goals in four hundred minutes of play for a miniscule 0.68 goals against average. Kanter has also made 16 saves on the year and recorded the two shutouts this week.

The Gulls (0-5-2) are scheduled to play two consecutive non-conference games, starting today at Tufts University at 4:00 pm. Thursday they will travel to Westfield State for a 7:00 pm kickoff.
