HENNIKER, NH - The Endicott College men's soccer team dropped their TCCC opener on Thursday afternoon, 3-0, to New England College in Henniker, NH. The win improves the Pilgrims to 3-1-0 overall (2-0-0 TCCC) and drops the Gulls to 0-2-1 and 0-1-0 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.

The two teams would battle closely through the opening 20 minutes of play but NEC forward Jordan Colonese (Guilford, CT) would put the Pilgrims on the board scoring on a breakaway at the 27:11 mark. Both teams would struggle to get shots on goal throughout the remainder of the half as the Pilgrims would hold on to the 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

Colonese would strike again, scoring his seventh goal of the season off a nice pass from Dean Smith (Schwenksville, PA) at the 52:06 mark to put the Pilgrims up 2-0. NEC's Nel Lima (Peabody, MA) would head in a goal off a throw in from Ian Coorssen (E. Kingston, NH) just minutes later to give the Pilgrims some breathing room.

Leading the way for the Gulls was Pranam Lipinski (Adams, MA/Hoosac Valley) and Bryan Lee (Rockport, MA/Rockport) who each got off two shots.

Picking up the shutout win in goal for NEC was Nick Kropelin (Jeffersonville, VT) who finished with 4 saves. In goal for Endicott was Cameron Twiss (Reading, MA/Reading), who turned away 4 Pilgrim shots.
