BABSON PARK, Mass. — The Endicott men's rugby team had a successful trip to the Nor'Easter 7s Tournament, as it went 4-1 while reaching the championship match.
The Gulls opened up the tournament defeating Babson (24-0) and Southern Connecticut St. (45-0) to advance to the quarterfinals.
Endicott started it's run to the championship match defeating Holy Cross in the quarterfinals, 34-0, and then Springfield, 19-12, in the semifinals to advance to the championship.
In the final, the Gulls fell short to Providence by a 24-19 score.
Endicott's player of the tournament was DeShean Hatton (Washington, D.C.) for his agressiveness on both offense and defense as he played multiple positions.

Endicott (16-2-1) competes in the Bryant 7s Tournament on Sunday, April 14.
