Men's Rugby Wins Bentley 7's Tournament

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Endicott club men's rugby team took home the Bentley 7's Tournament by going 4-1 on the day.

The Gulls started out the day with a loss against Boston University (25-15) but then rattled off four straight wins against Wentworth (32-7), Southern Connecticut (36-0), host Bentley (29-12), and a rematch versus Boston University (12-10) in the championship match.

"Lots of great rugby played yesterday," said Endicott men's club rugby head coach Dave Kenkel. "The two guys that stuck out were Matthew Gash-Gilder (Kalispell, Mont.) and Geoffrey Paige (Abington, Mass.) for their tough play."

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (20-1) will travel to Franklin and Marshall University for the NSCRO 7's Qualifier on Saturday, April 6.
