Endicott Men's Rugby Shines At NSCRO Men’s 15s All-Star Championship

BEVERLY, Mass. — Five members of the Endicott club men's rugby program competed at the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) Men's 15s All-Star Championship in Round Rock, Texas last weekend (June 22-24). Matthew Gash-Gilder (Kalispell, Mont.), Nick Iavicoli (Kalispell, Mont.), Marc Lerebours (Norwalk, Conn.), Nick Rowe (Avon, Conn.) and Jackson Thiebes (Manchester, Mass.) all helped the Northeast All-Star Team to advance to the championship match before falling to the Pacific All-Stars, 26-10.

The Northeast All-Star Team advanced to the championship match on Sunday, June 24 behind a 3-1 record in pool play over the first two days. Meanwhile, the Pacific All-Star Team went undefeated in pool play (4-0) and 5-0 overall in the tournament to claim the first-ever NSCRO Men's 15s All-Star Championship.

YEAR IN REVIEW

Endicott went 29-5 overall, advanced to the CCRC Championship, and placed seventh overall at the NSCRO 7s National Championships this season.
