BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's rugby team completed their regular season last Saturday after taking down Plymouth State for the first time ever, 37-12. With the win, the Gulls remain undefeated (4-0) heading into postseason play.

In a tough fought battle, the Gulls were able to conquer their worthy opponent, Plymouth State, for the first time ever in program history. And although there were many standout performances throughout the match, both Head and Assistant Coaches Dave Kenkel and Pat Cormier agreed in identifying senior Matt Doyle (Hingham, Mass.) and graduate Jessie Addleberg (Old Greenwich, Conn.) as pivotal playmakers with great speed, high intellect, and tenacity.

"Our guys put together everything we've worked on throughout the year, culminating in a commanding victory over a great Plymouth State squad whom we've never beaten before," said Endicott men's rugby assistant coach Pat Cormier." We showed a lot of heart and made multiple defensive stands inside our own 22-meter line. Overall, I'm extremely proud of the effort and intensity our boys showed on Saturday, especially Man Of The Match, Jesse Addleberg!"
