Men’s Lacrosse Thumps Nichols, 18-3

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team scored at least four goals in every quarter to defeat Nichols College, 18-3, on Wednesday night in conference action at Hempstead Stadium.

Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) and Will Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) highlighted Endicott on offense with six points each in the win. Sutherland buried four goals and dished out two assists, while Clark had three tallies and three helpers.

The Gulls also saw Mike Sudora (Monroe, Conn.) notch four markers and Ben Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) contribute two goals and two assists to improve their win streak to four straight games.

Meanwhile, Patrick Dean (Westhampton, N.Y.) made six saves in net to bump his record to 6-6 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 21-0 in the all-time series against Nichols.
  • The Gulls are 10-0 at home versus the Bison during that span.
  • After Nichols made it a 5-2 matchup at 10:46 of the second quarter, Endicott scored 10 unanswered goals from the 9:44 mark of the second all the way up until the 11:45 mark of the fourth.
  • The Gulls scored a season-high five man-up goals in tonight's victory.

Endicott (6-6, 4-0 CCC) travels to conference rival Western New England University on Saturday, April 13 at 4 PM. Nichols (6-5, 2-3 CCC) hosts Curry this Saturday at 11 AM.
