Men’s Lacrosse Turns Away Wentworth, 18-8

BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team posted an 18-8 conference victory over Wentworth on Saturday evening at Sweeney Field.

Mike Sudora (Monroe, Conn.) paced the Gulls with a career-high six goals.

Endicott also received a hat-trick from Ben Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and a pair of goals each from A.J. MacDonald (New Fairfield, Conn.) and Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) to highlight the offense.

Meanwhile, Patrick Dean (Westhampton, N.Y.) made 10 saves in net to bump his record to 5-6 overall on the season.

Wentworth struck first at the 12:29 mark of the first quarter, but, from there, the Gulls answered with nine straight tallies and were never challenged the rest of the way.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott improved to 22-3 all-time against Wentworth.
  • The Gulls have won 19 straight games against the Leopards.
  • Derek Yannone (Lynnfield, Mass.) went 14-for-18 at the faceoff X. He has averaged 13.63 faceoff wins per game this season.

Endicott (5-6, 3-0 CCC) hosts Nichols on Wednesday, April 10 at 7 PM. Wentworth (5-9, 2-3 CCC) travels to Roger Williams on Saturday, April 13 at 3 PM.
