No. 12 Stevens Bests Endicott, 17-6

HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team fell to No. 12 nationally ranked Stevens, 17-6, on Saturday afternoon in its 2019 season opener at Canavan Arena.

Will Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and Neal Parry (Marshfield, Mass.) paced the Gulls offensively with two goals apiece.

Endicott also received solo tallies from Hayden Souza (West Hartford, Conn.) and Kenneth Speak (Melbourne, Australia) in the loss.

Meanwhile, in goal, Patrick Dean (Westhampton, N.Y.) stopped 13 shots.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Derek Yannone (Lynnfield, Mass.) won a game-high 15 faceoffs, out of 21 attempts.
  • Stevens is ranked No. 12 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) national poll.
  • The Ducks hold an 8-3 advantage over Endicott in the all-time series.

Endicott (0-1) hosts Union (N.Y.) on Wednesday, March 27 at 4 PM. No. 12 Stevens (2-0) travels to Springfield College on Saturday, March 2 at 1 PM.
