BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott men's lacrosse program saw two student-athletes tabbed as returning players to watch during the 2019 season by New England Lacrosse Journal. Grant Garrity (Duxbury, Mass.) was named a Top-5 returning defenseman to watch, while Hayden Souza (West Hartford, Conn.) earned a spot on the list of Top-10 returning midfielders to watch. 

Garrity enters the 2019 season after a very successful 2018 campaign that saw him earn an IMLCA Northeast Region Honorable Mention, USILA All-America Honorable Mention, and All-CCC First Team honors. In the last two seasons, he was a key member of the Endicott defense and recorded 70 ground balls and 46 caused turnovers. 

Souza returns to the field for Endicott with 124 ground balls and 34 caused turnovers throughout his career. He also earned several accolades in 2018 including IMLCA Northeast Region Honorable Mention, NEILA All-Region Third Team Short-Stick Specialist, CCC Defensive Player of the Year, Short-Stick Specialist of the Year, and All-CCC First Team honors. 

The Gulls finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 7-11 and 5-2 mark in CCC play. Endicott advanced to the CCC Championship game where they fell 10-6 to Western New England.
