BEVERLY, Mass – Former Endicott men's lacrosse assistant coach Patrick Shelley '17 (Poland, Maine) has been named Director of Lacrosse Operations at Colgate University.

In his role, Shelley will work closely with Raiders' first-year head coach Matt Karweck and oversee day-to-day operations of the program. Shelley also will coordinate logistics for travel, plan prospect days and camps, handle the breakdown and recording of film, and serve as the program's equipment manager.

"Coach Shelley has been a valuable part of our program for the past five years. As a coach, Pat was involved in every aspect of program and player development at Endicott," said Endicott men's lacrosse head coach Eric Hagarty '10, M'11. "Most importantly, he has been an unbelievable mentor and friend to the student-athletes and coaches he has worked with during his time here. He will do great things with this new opportunity at Colgate."

While at Endicott, Shelley spent three seasons as an assistant coach, which included two years as an undergraduate assistant coach (2016-17). Shelley, who played on the team as a goalie for two years (2014-15), worked closely with Coach Hagarty and the goalies. Shelley also was a part of two Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship teams, including one as a student-athlete (2015) and another as a member of the coaching staff (2017).
