BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team fell to No. 3 nationally ranked Tufts University, 12-11, in overtime on Tuesday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Trailing 11-10 with under 1:30 left to play in regulation, Jumbos' sophomore attack Matt Treiber (Medfield, Mass.) evened up the score with a great individual effort at the 1:26 mark when he sprinted around cage and found space near the right post for his 18th goal of the season.

Meanwhile, in overtime, Nick Shanks (Laguna Beach, Calif.) scored from the right side of the cage just 31-seconds after Henry Hollen (San Diego, Calif.) won the extra session's opening face-off to keep Tufts undefeated at 10-0 on the year.

Endicott was led offensively by Will Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) who had three goals and three assists for six points (all career-highs). The Gulls also received a pair of goals from Ben Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.), Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.), and A.J. MacDonald (New Fairfield, Conn.) and solo tallies via Derek Yannone (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Kenneth Speak (Melbourne, Australia) to round out the scoring in the loss.

In goal, Patrick Dean (Westhampton, N.Y.) shined once again for the Gulls making 12 saves, which included three big stops in the fourth quarter that allowed Endicott to go up one goal on two separate occasions.
