Eric Hagarty ’10 To Present At US Lacrosse Convention "LaxCon"

LAXCON SPEAKERS SCHEDULE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's lacrosse head coach Eric Hagarty '10 M'11 (Sudbury, Mass.) will serve as a panelist at the upcoming US Lacrosse Convention "LaxCon" in Baltimore, Maryland this weekend. 

Hagarty is among a select group of esteemed professionals from the college ranks that will speak at the organization's showcase event. Regarded as lacrosse's largest educational event, LaxCon features more than 50 speakers across all levels of lacrosse with the intent to promote, educate, and develop the sports of men's and woman's lacrosse across all age populations both domestically and internationally. The convention begins on Friday, Jan. 19 and lasts through Sunday, Jan. 21. 

Hagarty is scheduled to present on the "Development of the Entire Goalie" on Saturday, January 20 from 12:45-1:45 PM in Ballroom III at the Baltimore Convention Center. Hagarty will present with current Boston Cannons head coach Sean Quirk

Hagarty brings a wealth of knowledge on the topic to the convention as a three-time USILA All-American, two-time Tewaaraton Trophy Watch List selection, and a 2012 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Supplemental Draft pick. Hagarty's other collegiate accolades include one USILA Scholar All-America honor, two-time ECAC Defensive Player of the Year award winner, the 2008 NCAA Division III statistical champion in goals against average (5.43), and three All-CCC first team selections. 

As a coach at Endicott (2011-2015 assistant | 2016-present head coach), Hagarty has guided goalie Cameron Bell '16 to four USILA All-America honors, eight All-Region selections, one ECAC New England Defensive Player of the Year honor, three All-CCC first team honors and one All-CCC second team honor. Bell was also named the 2013 CCC Rookie of the Year and claimed back-to-back CCC Defensive Player of the Year awards in 2014 and 2015. 

Hagarty also coached Mike Klein (Darien, Conn.) to an All-CCC second team honor in 2011 and Grant Thompson (South Hamilton, Mass.) to an All-CCC third team award in 2017.
