BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team (10-7) has been selected to play No. 4/5 nationally ranked SUNY Cortland (15-2) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Wednesday, May 10 in Cortland, New York at a time to be determined later.

SUNY Cortland earned an at-large bid into this year's NCAA Tournament after falling to SUNY Plattsburgh in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship game, 10-6, at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex on Saturday, May 6.

Meanwhile, the Gulls topped rival Western New England, 12-9, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title game to earn the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Wednesday's matchup will mark just the second time that Endicott and SUNY Cortland have ever gone head-to-head. The first and only meeting between the programs occurred in the second round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament, which resulted in a 13-6 win for the Red Dragons.
