BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's lacrosse seniors Will Jennings (Danvers, Mass.) and Tommy Hughes (Coram, N.Y.) have both earned weekly awards from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the league office earlier today. Jennings was named the CCC Offensive Player of the Week, while Hughes claimed CCC Specialist of the Week accolades.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jennings led Endicott to a 3-0 week by picking up 21 points. The senior scored 16 goals this week highlighted by a standout eight-goal showing in Endicott's 21-8 win over Nichols. He also handed out four assists in that contest to set a single-game program record in points with 12. He followed up that performance with a hat trick to help his team to an 11-10 comeback victory over CCC rival Western New England on Saturday.
SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
Hughes helped Endicott sweep all three of their conference games this week. Hughes was dominant in the face-off X going 42-56 (75 percent) for the week. The senior also scooped up 30 ground balls and added one goal in each win for Endicott.
