BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior attackman Will Jennings (Danvers, Mass.) and junior goalie Grant Thompson (South Hamilton, Mass.) have both earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly honors, as announced by the league yesterday. Jennings was named the CCC Offensive Player of the Week, while Thompson claimed CCC Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
CCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jennings led the way in Endicott's 10-8 CCC win over the University of New England on Wednesday (March 29). Jennings had seven points (six goals, one assist), while also collecting three ground balls. He took 16 shots in the game, putting 13 of them on-target for an 81.3 shots on-goal percentage.
CCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Thompson backstopped Endicott to a 10-8 conference victory against University of New England on Wednesday (March 29). The Gulls goalie made 13 saves, while allowing eight goals. This resulted in an 8.00 goals-against average and a 61.9 save percentage.
