BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse program saw four of its student-athletes named to the inaugural Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) Division III All-Region teams on Thursday. Colin Bannon (Westport, Conn.) and Cameron Bell (Falmouth, Maine) received All-North Region second team accolades, while Tommy Hughes (Coram, N.Y.) and Will Jennings (Danvers, Mass.) were tabbed to the All-North Region honorable mention squad.
The IMLCA All-Region teams were identified based on the All-Conference teams associated with all conferences sponsoring lacrosse.
COLIN BANNON | JUNIOR | ATTACK | WESTPORT, CONN.
In 2016, Bannon compiled 91 points on 37 goals and a team-leading 54 assists in 18 games played. Bannon currently ranks No. 4 in the country in assists per game (3.00) and No. 12 in points per game (5.06).
CAMERON BELL | SENIOR | GOALIE | FALMOUTH, MAINE
Bell posted a 9-9 record this spring to go along with a 10.71 goals against average, 201 saves, and a 51.8 save percentage in 18 starts for Endicott. Bell, who will continue playing lacrosse with the Boston Cannons (Major League Lacrosse) later this summer, concludes his standout four-year career as the all-time wins leader (52) in program history.
TOMMY HUGHES | JUNIOR | FACE-OFF | CORAM, N.Y.
Hughes currently ranks No. 3 among all NCAA Division III face-off specialists in ground balls per game (10.22) and No. 12 in face-off winning percentage (.667) this season. Hughes went a combined 293-for-439 at the face-off X in 2016, while scooping up 184 ground balls and registering 11 points (8g, 3a).
WILL JENNINGS | JUNIOR | ATTACK | DANVERS, MASS.
Jennings wrapped up his junior campaign by setting the single-season goals record with 80 tallies, while also finishing second for most points in a single-season with 96 (80 goals, 16 assists). Jennings currently ranks No. 6 in the nation in points per game (5.65), No. 31 in individual man-up goals (9), and No. 120 in shot percentage (.388).
