BEVERLY, MA - The Commonwealth Coast Conference has announced that Endicott senior attackman Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury) has been named the CCC Player of the Week for his performance during the Gulls opening two games against nationally-ranked Springfield College and No. 4 Wesleyan University.
Gilbert, who tallied 43 goals and three assists last season, picked up where he left off by netting a goal and an assist in Endicott's 10-6 season opening win over Springfield College on February 27th. The senior attackman continued to be an offensive threat in the Gulls next game vs. No. 4 Wesleyan University, notching two goals and two assists in a 9-6 loss in Middletown, Connecticut.
The CCC Player of the Week and the rest of the Endicott Gulls take the field on Wednesday afternoon, as they play host to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Engineers at 4:00 PM in Beverly, MA.
