DUDLEY, MA - Junior Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury) led a 10-goal first quarter scoring spree to help Endicott defeat Nichols College, 21-6, Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference men's lacrosse action.
The Gulls (6-3, 4-0 CCC) won their fifth straight game while the Bison dropped to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in the CCC.
Senior Burt Fahy (Needham, MA/Needham) recorded three goals and three assists in the victory, while senior Kevin Lally (Derry, NH/Pinkerton Academy), who recently became the all-time career assist leader in Division III, added a goal and four helpers.
Freshmen Brandon Dube (Danvers, MA/Danvers) and Eddie O'Reilly (Beverly, MA/Beverly) added three and two points, respectively for the visitors, who put 12 players in the scoring column. Joe Gugino (West Hartford, CT/Conard) and David Scarfo (Billerica, MA/Billerica) each tallied two goals and Gugino added an assist.
The Gulls will host CCC foe Wentworth Tuesday night (7) before heading to Babson Saturday afternoon (3).
