Gulls Come Up Short Against Bowdoin 12-7

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The Endicott College men's lacrosse team was defeated 12-7 by Bowdoin College on Monday evening. The contest, played in a torrential downpour, was the first night lacrosse game in the history of Bowdoin's Howard F. Ryan Field. Endicott is currently 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.

Kevin Lally (Derry,NH) scored two goals and added four assists. Lally currently is second on the all-time assist leaders at Endicott with 140 assists. Chris Maher holds the current assist record with 143. Bowdoin held a 10-2 advantage before a four-goal outburst from the Gulls which drew the visitors to within five goals after three periods.

Burt Fahy tallied three goals and added an assist, while freshman Josh Gilbert (Simsbury,CT) finished the night with one goal. Parker Sowles (Cumberland,ME) netted one goal and an assist. Sam Chidester (Eliot,ME) and Dan Ryan (Billerica,MA) each added an assist for the Gulls .

Ryan Walsh (Weymouth,MA) stopped fifteen shots for the Gulls. The Gulls host Commonwealth Coast Conference opponent University of New England on March 30th at 4:00pm.
