Tuft's Ranked #14 In The Nation Holds On To Victory, 9-4

BEVERLY - On a bitter cold night in Beverly, \#14 Tufts used a 4-0 third period to pull away from a scrappy Endicott team and post a 9-4 victory on Friday. Endicott was, led by three assists from sophomore Kevin Lally (Derry,NH). Six penalties in the game hurt the Jumbos, especially early. Endicott scored two man-up goals in the first half to keep the game close. It was 4-3 Tufts at halftime. Senior Corey Fox (Weymouth,MA) had a solid game on face-off's for Endicott. While Freshman Jeff Clattenburg (Concord,NH) scored his first collegiate goal for the Gulls.

Endicott's defense played extrellemly well containing Tuft's high tempo offense. Endicott's goalie Matt Bagshaw (Framingham,MA) played well with 12 saves. Junior All-American Bryan Griffin was held to only a goal for the Jumbos.
