Will O'Neill enters his third season as an assistant coach with the Endicott men's ice hockey program in 2021-22.

O'Neill came to Endicott with an accomplished hockey resume, which includes a standout four-year career at the University of Maine and seven-plus seasons of pro hockey between the American Hockey League (AHL) and the National Hockey League (NHL). Originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2006, O'Neill has also signed professional contracts with the Winnipeg Jets (twice), Pittsburgh Penguins, and Philadelphia Flyers.

O'Neill's other professional hockey highlights include his NHL debut with the Flyers in 2017 against the St. Louis Blues and his 390-plus career games in the AHL where in which he has amassed more than 200 career points as a defenseman.

O'Neill graduated from UMaine in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications alongside a minor in child development. 

Meanwhile, his coaching experience includes 18-plus years as a team coach with the Viking Hockey School.
